Terms of Use
Last updated: 7 June 2026
In plain language: Veyruna is an advisory practice, not a law firm. Nothing on this website is legal, financial, tax, accounting or other professional advice, and reading it does not make you a client. Engagements begin only with a written agreement.
01Agreement to these terms
By accessing or using veyruna.com (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
02About Veyruna
Veyruna ("Veyruna", "we", "us") is a private advisory practice in risk, governance and strategy, operating from Queensland, Australia. We advise boards, executives, professional-services firms and organisations in regulated industries.
03Not legal, financial or other professional advice
Veyruna is not a law firm or incorporated legal practice, and nothing we publish or say constitutes legal advice. We likewise do not provide financial product advice, tax, audit or accounting services. Content on this Site is general information only and is not advice of any kind.
Where matters require formal legal, audit, tax or accounting advice, we work alongside your in-house teams and external advisers, or can refer you to independent specialist partner firms. Any such referral is an introduction only: partner firms act for you under their own terms, and we are not responsible for their services or advice.
04No client relationship
Using this Site, contacting us, or submitting an enquiry does not create an advisory, fiduciary or client relationship. An engagement with Veyruna commences only when both parties sign a written engagement agreement, which will govern the scope, fees, confidentiality and terms of any work.
05Enquiries and unsolicited information
We treat enquiries discreetly as a matter of practice. However, information sent to us before an engagement is in place is not protected by legal professional privilege and may not be treated as confidential at law. Please do not send sensitive, privileged or proprietary material until an engagement agreement and any necessary confidentiality terms are in place.
06Intellectual property
The Site and its content (including text, design, graphics and the Veyruna name and marks) are owned by or licensed to Veyruna. You may view and share links to the Site for your own informational purposes. You may not reproduce, modify or commercially exploit Site content without our written permission.
07Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Site, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, interfering with its operation, scraping at scale, or submitting unlawful, misleading or malicious content through our forms.
08Third-party sites and resources
The Site links to third-party websites and resources (including external reading and reference libraries). These are provided for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, and a link is not an endorsement.
09Disclaimers
The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about the accuracy, completeness or currency of Site content, or that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free. Risk, regulation and technology change quickly; do not act on general information without obtaining advice specific to your circumstances.
10Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, and to the maximum extent permitted by law:
- we exclude all liability for loss or damage (including indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, data or opportunity) arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site or its content; and
- where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our liability is limited, at our election, to resupplying the relevant information or services, or paying the cost of having them resupplied.
11Indemnity
You indemnify Veyruna against loss arising from your breach of these terms or your unlawful use of the Site, except to the extent we caused the loss.
12Changes
We may update these terms from time to time by posting the revised version here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance.
13Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and the Commonwealth of Australia.
